Evaluating policy change is especially complex for a number of reasons, which have been explored extensively in the literature over the past several years by academics and practitioners alike (endless citations available upon request). Dr. Jenny Cohen, Director of Monitoring and Evaluation at Sikkuy: TheAssociation for the Advancement of Equality will present a set of innovative tools and approaches to policy and social change evaluation, which have been developed and practiced at the organization over the past six years. These tools are designed to systematically surface data for use in decision-making for improving project management, outcomes and impact, and communication between and among internal and external organizational stakeholders.

הערכת שינויי מדיניות היא מורכבת מטבעה וזאת מכמה סיבות שנחקרו לעומק בשנים האחרונות על ידי

אנשי אקדמיה ואנשי שדה כאחת (אינסוף ציטוטים זמינים למתעניינים). ד"ר ג'ני כהן, מנהלת ההערכה והבקרה בעמותת סיכוי: העמותה לקידום שוויון אזרחי, תציג מספר כלים חדשניים וגישות עכשוויות להערכת מדיניות ושינוי חברתי שפותחו ונוסו בארגון במהלך שש השנים האחרונות. כלים אלה עוצבו בכדי לחשוף ולהציף מידע באופן שיטתי כך שישמש כבסיס לניהול, קבלת החלטות, שיפור תוצאות והשפעה, ותקשורת בין בעלי עניין פנימיים וחיצוניים של הארגון.
